This collection's design was inspired by the leftover parts from an architecture model I was making. Each piece of the collection is made up of spare model parts and old jewellery that was recycled. The aim of the design was to make a composition between the elements so that they hold each other together (selfstanding).
The ring is made up of 3 parts, two spare model parts and one recycled jewellery part. The two model parts are from wood and plastic, they used to be floor and railing elements in my architecture model. The recycled jewellery is an old metal earing that was bent in a curved way to go around the finger and hold together the other parts. The two ends of the curve perfectly fit with the other elements.
The materials used are Bijou, reflective plastic, wood.
