Today there are many different notebooks on the marked and designing one that stands out is a challenging task.
The idea for this product came about from observing the person it was made for. She always writes things down on post-it notes and leaves them around the house but then later when she would need them, they would be lost or hard to find. That is why I thought if she had where to pin them down and carry them with her it would be perfect.
The old-style memory boards that used cork as the base material came to mind. If the coves of the notebook were made of that material it would enable you to pin notes outside and inside the notebook so that you can keep track of all the most important thing you have going on right now.
This particular person also needed a notebook for sketching so that is why thicker sketching paper was used.
On the side of the cover there is a magnet that holds in place the metal pen. When the notebook is being used the magnet holds the cover thread that also has metal elements.
